Better Home NO Garden Investing Sites

We are considering buying a house and we are torn between looking at Fort Myers short sales or foreclosures.  There are advantages to both.  The approval process is worse for short sales but the homes seem to be in much better condition.  My guess is that some of these foreclosures have been sitting on the market far too long and are probably abandoned and in the Florida heat and humidity it really takes a toll on some of these places.  The new construction probably was not built terribly well to begin with and now with all of the humidity the fixtures are starting to rust in some of them that I have seen.  I guess all in all though, these are fairly inexpensive to replace if you get a great deal on the house.  It’s all give and take so we will just have to take the good with the bad and just work on getting a great price for our new home!
