One of the fundamentals of day trading is day trading futures markets.  For a newbie, I will give you a brief overview on what the futures markets are:

Futures are also known as commodities, it started out when farmers wanted to have a standard way on how to earn every year due to fluctuation in prices. That evolved the futures market on which farmers and buyers now have an agreement on buying a commodity at given price at a given date in the future.

As the futures market became popular, it was then applied to the financial markets for crude oil and and stock indexes of Nasdaq and S & P 500.

As a prerequisite for you to get started day trading , you must open first a brokerage account.  A lot of brokerage firms are available in the market today that cater futures traders on which that provide good support and excellent trading platforms to trade in the futures market.

With the evolution of day trading going online and available to everyone, the futures market now have E-mini Futures. These E-mini contracts, can only be traded electronically, the “E” came from electronic.  You are virtually, not physically, buying or selling a commodity at a given price.

There are a lot of things to learn more about the futures market, and if you want to learn more how to day trade  with futures market, you must gain more knowledge by doing research on different sources. You can use books, watching stock market news and getting loads of information on the internet. It does take time and lots of patience on knowing all of these and become a trusted expert, but if you have determination and the proper disciple to learn, you are on your way to have financial freedom in the future.
